DOCTO is the upcoming app looking for support at the crowdfunding website Indiegogo. Designed as a pocket doctor, it’s touted as an intelligent system designed to give users sage medical advice.
The application tunes into all the data gathered by phones and wearable devices, as well as data aggregation services such as Apple HealthKit and Google Fit, to deliver biostatistical analysis and actually answer the question – “how health am I.”
DOCTO is constantly learning to be able to prevent recurrent events, and any information collected can be easily shared with care providers.DOCTO will analyze and integrate user’s heart rate, blood pressure, glucose levels, body temperature, BMI and respiratory rate with information collected using the app to tell the user if it finds any abnormalities.
Specifically, the application promises to accurately predict and help prevent diabetes-specific complications such as the onset of insulin-resistance and recurrent hypoglycemia. Moreover, it should be able to recognize early indicators of kidney infections and fluid accumulation within the body.

On the other side, DOCTO will also helps doctors improve treatment adherence by selectively engaging and assisting users to avoid complications based on behavioral factors.
The DOCTO team is looking to raise $150,000 in a crowdfunding campaign. The app with a 3 month service is up for pre-order for CA$75, while the package with 12-month service goes for CA$155. Estimated delivery is set for February 2015.
