Vitastiq is a novel mHealth device made for checking users’ vitamin and mineral status using a smartphone.
Based on the EAV methodology that was tested and proved by a team of medical doctors headed by Dr. Reinhard Voll, Vitastiq comes in the form of a thick pencil that works in pair with an accompanying mobile app. The application is used to determine the reference point and then measure vitamin by vitamin, mineral by mineral, touching the relevant points as shown on the screen.
Vitastiq is looking to raise $49,000 at Indiegogo. The device provides insight on 30 most important vitamin and mineral levels, along with individual advice on how to improve vitality with the right choice of nutrients. This way, users can take the necessary steps to preserve their well-being. Historical records are preserved within the app, allowing users to keep track of their progress.
Also included within the app is the easy-to-grasp tutorial for helping users find all the points needed for measuring. Users can set up one or more profiles if a friend or family member wishes to try out Vitastiq.
Designed and developed by a Croatia-based team, Vitastiq is looking to raise $49,000 at Indiegogo, to turn its idea into a real-world product. A single Vitastiq unit is up for pre-order for $79 (early bird price); delivers are set for March 2015.
