Baby Check is a wearable baby monitor that wants to “revolutionize the way we care for our children.” It will not only monitor baby’s temperature, but also his or her position while sleeping or during play. The information collected will be transferred to an accompanying mobile app, which will alert parents if there is a need to act. Otherwise, it [app] will show the temperature trending on a live feed basis showing spikes and temperature changes across time intervals.

The device supports multiple children, and there’s an option to set alarm temperatures and track baby’s sleep patterns across the hours of monitoring.

Designed to be extremely simple to use, the Baby Check is scheduled for release in July 2015 and will retail for $78. Early bird backers can purchase the product from Kickstarter for $40. Or not; due to an apparent lack of funding, it appears that the device may never make it to market. You are free to help, though. 😉
