STANLEY Healthcare and Connexient have partnered to add Connexient’s MediNav Wayfinding solution to STANLEY Healthcare’s portfolio. The two parties also plan to develop product integrations that will enable healthcare providers to manage and improve the patient experience not only within the hospital, but along the entire continuum of care.

Connexient’s MediNav Navigator 2.0 provides a door-to-door approach to wayfinding, and location-services that solves real world problems for patients, visitors and staff; and can be integrated with EHR appointment scheduling systems to reduce missed or late appointments and drive a personalized patient experience. It is a cloud-based SaaS solution with market-leading indoor positioning technology powered by Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacons.

  1. The patient receives an SMS appointment reminder, with a link to the MediNav mobile application.
  2. MediNav securely displays appointment details, along with a recommended parking garage based on the interior location of the appointment, and turn-by-turn driving directions.
  3. At the parking garage, the patient can save the parking spot location for easy navigation back to their vehicle after the appointment.
  4. A Welcome screen then offers the patient e-Check-in options and turn-by-turn indoor navigation to their appointment. At the same time, hospital staff is notified of the patient’s arrival.

Connexient’s MediNav Navigator 2.0 provides a door-to-door approach to wayfinding, and location-services that solves real world problems for patients, visitors and staff.Additionally, MediNav provides location-based reporting and analytics on patient, visitor and staff workflows and dwell times, giving hospital administrators actionable intelligence to improve the patient experience, drive higher HCAHPS scores and potentially capture lost revenues caused by missed appointments and longer waiting times.

“Connexient’s MediNav solution is the perfect complement to our existing Wi-Fi based solutions for Patient Flow, Asset Management, Environmental Monitoring, Hand Hygiene Compliance Monitoring and Patient and Staff Security,” said Gabi Daniely, Vice President of Solutions, Products and Marketing at STANLEY Healthcare. “Our partnership with Connexient will help our clients further improve staff communication, automate processes, accelerate responsiveness, increase security and streamline workflow across the entire continuum of care.”
