Enabled by MDLIVE and Doctor On Demand, the service will be available to for Livongo Members, beginning with Livongo for Behavioral Health, in January.

The new offering is added through partnerships with the two top national laboratories LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics.

Together with Allergy & Asthma Network, the company will develop a series of services for people with asthma and allergies.

The psychiatry services are initially available in 27 states; the company has more than 300 mental health professionals who will see patients for ongoing care.

Beginning January 1, 2016, a Doctor On Demand video visit will be the most affordable and convenient telehealth option for Blue Cross members.

The company is testing different telehealth opportunities, including making telehealth physician care accessible through its digital properties.

As a result of this co-operation, consumers will get a complete health care program, which previously has not been available.

The company will use the fresh capital to continue to grow its telehealth service, and will build out a sales team to procure additional corporate customers.

Users at Wegmans locations in DeWitt, N.Y., Niagara Falls, N.Y., Allentown, Pa., and Fairfax, Va. can already connect with remote physicians.
