The new Lively app gives older adults one-touch access to urgent response services via their smartphone, quickly connecting to help if an emergency occurs.

The device pairs with an iOS or Android smartphone to enable the service that GreatCall says fits the needs of both the older adult and the family caregiver.

Following a successful pilot program in five markets, GreatCall now offers this service to all customers, providing easy access to Lyft rides.

Customers at any of more than 4,000 Rite Aid pharmacies across the U.S. will be able to buy GreatCall's Touch3, Splash and Jitterbug5 phones.

Using the AliveCor Heart Monitor, GreatCall users with suspected or diagnosed heart conditions will be able to fully participate in their own cardiac health.
