Air pollution is big problem in many parts of the world, China being the “best” example we could think of. So we’re not surprised that a local, Shenzhen-based company is trying to tackle at least part of this problem. Specifically, they want to purify the air inside our homes.
Their solution, Table Air, is touted as an efficient smart air purifier with a stylish design that “blends well with the environment wherever you need it.”
The device has a PM2.5 filter, offering ultraviolet disinfection, odor removal and multiple air purification functions. It also includes a built-in Wi-Fi module, which can be controlled directly through Table Air’s mobile app, giving users functions like a remote switch and wind speed control. Plus, it can assess the surrounding air quality to provide travel health recommendations.

And once filter needs to be replaced, said mobile app will remind users to do so to avoid secondary air pollution.
The product will be available in five different colors, and also includes a USB socket that allows charging of another device via USB.
Unsurprisingly, Table Air will first be offered in China with rest of the world getting it at a later date. Meanwhile, anyone can secure a single unit through the Indiegogo campaign for $85. Deliveries are set to begin in November.
