Binoy Babu and Shreni Binoy are looking to make an easy solution for parents by providing education and information on their children’s vaccination. The duo wants to make an Android app — called Cubs — that simplifies the vaccination scheduling and has turned to crowdfunding to complete the project.
Right now, the application is in the final stages of development and will be released as a closed beta in the coming weeks, before the completion of the campaign. All contributors are invited to participate in the closed beta version.
The application is currently in the final stages of development and will be released as a closed beta in the coming weeks.Current feature set allows parents in the in USA, UK, Australia, India, France and UAE to add and edit multiple child profiles; mark vaccinations as done or not done; notify users for vaccinations that are due; view details about vaccines and schedules.
This, however, is just the beginning. In the near future, Cubs will also include vaccination schedules from around the globe, as well as support for web-based service. Adding other platforms to the mix is also planned.
In order to complete their work, Babu and Binoy need to raise $14,000 at Indiegogo. You can help with as little as $1, which will buy you a ticket to the beta testing community. Check it out.
