A company called FitNatic is using the crowdfunding site Indiegogo to launch what it says is the smart device that mixes a precise blend of supplements and vitamins based on a user’ fitness data. Called Nourish, the WiFi-enabled product works with a companion app to analyze fitness, nutrition, and sleep data and dispense a personalized blend of powdered nutrients, vitamins, herbs, and minerals.
“Personalized nutritional supplementation is often only available to professional athletes and individuals who can afford dedicated nutritionists,” said Aldo Beqiraj, Co-Founder and Chief Experience Officer of FitNatic, Inc. “Nourish uses our advanced nutrition algorithms to make health and fitness data actionable – now health and fitness consumers can take advantage of their data and experience the benefits that required years of research and cost thousands of dollars.”
Nourish can hold 16 of the so called Seeds, which are single dietary supplement containers, on the topside of the device.Nourish takes into account a number of variables produced by health and fitness trackers to create its personalized vitamin blend, including movement, heart rate, sleep and more. The device then dispenses the vitamin blend, which can then be poured into a user’s drink of choice. For instance, if a user has just finished running a marathon or CrossFit workout, Nourish will craft and dispense a supplement blend catered to their exact physical needs.
Nourish can hold 16 of the so called Seeds, which are single dietary supplement containers, on the topside of the device. Each seed is RFID-enabled and can hold approximately a one month supply of either a nutrient, mineral, vitamin, or herb. It will automatically be refilled and shipped to a user’s home. According to FitNatic, using Nourish is like having a personal nutritionist in the home.
Nourish is now up for pre-order starting at $399.
